Dr. Suzie J. Jarmain is an innovative acting coach, creative consultant, and actor-performer specialising in psychological realism-based character transformation. With over 30 years’ experience, she has worked with the National Theatre of Scotland, BBC, Melbourne Theatre Company, ABC Radio, Victorian College of the Arts, and NIDA Open. She holds four tertiary degrees, including a scholarship-awarded PhD from Monash University, and won the Philip Parsons Prize (ADSA). A published scholar, Suzie presents globally at conferences and panels including Performance Studies International, AusAct, PAMA, ASPAH, and The S-Word. Her current work includes The Actor’s Ecosystem, a trauma-informed tool for sustainable acting practice.
