Sabrina Merks is the Education Assistant at the Shaw Festival and a multidisciplinary theatre artist, arts educator, and administrator. They hold honours credentials in Musical Theatre from Queen’s University and St. Lawrence College. Experienced across nearly every facet of production, Sabrina collaborates deftly—adapting with ease, supporting teams holistically, and carrying ideas from spark to stage. They create inclusive, empowering spaces for learning and performance, and have developed new works, including site-specific pieces, devised creations, augmented reality experiences, and operas. Passionate about accessibility, mentorship, and community, Sabrina believes in theatre’s transformative power—one performance, one workshop, one conversation at a time.
